Notarial Info

The West Carroll Parish Clerk of Court only notarizes documents which will be filed in our office. For all other documents there are notaries in the Sheriff’s, Tax Assessor and Registrar voters office in the courthouse for your convenience.

Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 35:191(H), a Notary Public appointed in West Carroll may perform notarial functions in the parishes of Bienville, Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Union, or West Carroll Parish. Also a Notary Public appointed in Bienville, Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Union, or Bossier parishes have the same privilege.
